Dr. Matt Hare

Dr. Matt Hare has a doctorate in environmental modelling, computing and resource management. After working at EAWAG he co-founded Seecon Germany to promote and support the practical application of participatory water management within local- and river basin- scale planning processes. He is a trained and experienced expert in moderation, participatory water management, knowledge engineering and environmental modelling. He has fourteen years of experience in research including six years in applying the principles of participatory water management in practice. Dr. Hare works occasionally for the Integrated Assessment Society (TIAS) and is on the editorial board of the international journal, Environmental Modelling and Software. He currently provides participatory planning support for water management projects across north-west Europe as well as for projects supporting urban regeneration. He also provides a number of EU research projects with moderation expertise and capacity building.
