Sophie Rotter, who holds a Masters' Degrees in Environmental Policy and Management as well as in Social Sciences, is the manager of Seecon Deutschland GmbH. She gained her qualification as moderator, mediator and project manager through working for a consultancy for participatory processes and conflict resolution as well as for an international human rights charity. During this phase in her career, she has organised stakeholder workshops and conferences on topics as diverse as genetic engineering and child trafficking and has provided consultancy to both SMEs and large-scale enterprises in the areas of public participation and conflict management. She is currently moderating and coordinating international participation processes to improve river basin management projects.
